Taiwan Excellence Awards

Best Choice Award (Computex Taipei 2007)
The organizations hosting the show invited authoritative figures from domestic industry, government, and academia to serve as judges. The judges rated the products based on their technology, innovation, and export potential. In each of the three times the awards were held since their launch in 2001, the "Best Choice" products have been very popular attention-getters at the COMPUTEX show.

BEST OF TAIWAN'S BEST Awards (Eurotrade 2007 Q2)
Eurotrade Computer & Communication is a leading IT trade journal that is published monthly in hard copy for tens of thousands of technology buyers across the European continent. Eurotrade's Best of Taiwan's Best awards are presented annually at CeBIT, Computex Taipei and Comdex Fall. Invitations to the awards are sent out 6 to 8 weeks before each show. The editors meet to shortlist finalists, who are then invited to provide products for testing or give a demonstration of their operation. The editors score finalists according to pre-determined criteria, and then finalize the winners in the week preceding each show.

Golden Torch Awards
The Golden Torch Award (GTA) is under the leadership of Academia Sinica of Economic & Technological Development & Research of Taiwan and administration of Association of Outstanding Business Managers of R.O.C.

Deloitte Taiwan Fast 50 (#1 winner out of 1,500 public Taiwanese Companies)
Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 Taiwan The Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 Taiwan is an award programme honoring business growth and technological innovation. The program ranks the fastest-growing Taiwan tech companies based on percentage revenue growth over a three-year period.

Deloitte Asia Fast 500 (#1 winner out of 2,000 Asia Pacific Companies)
The Asia-Pacific Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Technology Fast 500 program is a ranking of the fastest growing technology companies across the Asia-Pacific Region.

Good Design (Granted for Design and Innovation)
To encourage manufacturers to enhance their product design capabilities, and to promote the competitiveness of Taiwan products in both the domestic and overseas markets, the Industrial Development Bureau (IDB) has entrusted the Taiwan Design Center (TDC) to introduce a new Good Design Product Selection system, and a new "Good Design
Product Mark" as well.
The "Good Design Product Mark" aims to establish a high-quality image for products made in Taiwan. This mark was registered as the "Service Mark" under the Trade Mark Law of the National Bureau of Standards of the Ministry of R.O.C. Economic Affairs, and was awarded to products of innovation that were approved by the "Good Design Product Committee". This committee is composed of business, government and academic leaders under invitation from CETRA to carefully evaluate all entries. The main criteria used were function, aesthetic value and design process.
